Creating and managing content for your WooCommerce online store can be a challenge. And how you approach it really depends on your store’s business model.
On April 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm I will be presenting at our local WooCommerce meetup. (Note
Note: I will also write a post on what I covered in this presentation for our blog here).
The presentation will be an overview that will help you start your content strategy for your WooCommerce online store. Small shop owners find this a big challenge as their focus is on selling products. Creating revenue. But part of that is building those relationships with customers, hopefully turning some of them into lifetime or repeating customers. Content can help with that if it’s done the right way.
How to blog without having a blog.
The power of WordPress is fresh content. And that is why many feel forced to start a blog. But I will share some of the ways you can use this to benefit your store without formally calling it a blog.
How to come up with content that fits your audience.
We live in a world of massive content and there are so many ways to get your message out. I’ll touch on the various mediums and how they might fit your own strategy.
Managing your content.
Once you start producing content, you need to have a system in place to manage it from the conceptual beginning to the final piece.
Maintaining your content.
When all is said and done, the work doesn’t stop. You can put as much time into this effort as you choose. But it’s important to keep your content up to dat and maintained as much as the mechanics of your store.
Of course, the meetup is free and you will have the chance to meet other like-minded Woo peeps. You can RSVP over on the WordPress Seattle meetup page.
And if you can’t make it or are elsewhere on this wonderful place we call Earth, check back because the post will be published on April 17th.
